2019 The Dunes-Calumet Audubon was awarded a National Audubon Collaborative Grant to assist with the Dunes area saw-whet owl migration banding program. We are helping to bring owls into the classroom via the owl banding education guide, Audubon Adventures Owl Prowl, and owl adoptions for classrooms. Ten schools were chosen among applicants to receive these great educational guides and a chance to learn about owl research going on right here in the Audubon chapter.
